Executive Chef
With more than 15 years of culinary experience, Chef Anthony Hoff brings a wide variety of cooking styles and techniques to his position as executive chef of the City Fish Market. Chef Anthony’s experience and unique point of view make his dishes distinctive and award winning.
From a young age, growing up in the Philippines, Chef Anthony’s passion developed while watching various international cooking shows and helping his mother prepare traditional meals in the kitchen for his family.
At the age of 12, Chef Anthony and his family moved to Maryland, where he began what would become his career in the restaurant industry. After only one month of working as a dishwasher in a small local restaurant, his enthusiasm for food was apparent and he was promoted to preparing food on the line.
Chef Anthony pursued his passion when he attended Johnson and Wales University in North Miami, Florida and obtained a degree in culinary arts. After graduating, he held several positions at Baleen, Café Tabac and Poppy and Grand Café Orsini. Chef Anthony furthered his training while working with noted executive chefs in the industry such as Claude Troigros, Robin Hass and Piero Premoli, current executive chef of Pricci, a sister restaurant to City Fish Market in Atlanta.
Chef Anthony resides in the Miami area, where while he recently honed his skills in the preparation of many varieties of fish and shellfish at The Oceanaire Seafood Room, earning several honorable ratings such as Best Seafood by the Miami Herald, Miami New Times and the Sunpost and top Zagat ratings.

Anthony and his fiancée Jessica welcomed their first child in July, a son, Micah. In his leisure time, he enjoys golf, football (especially the Miami Dolphins), and is an enthusiast of reggae music.
