Bistro Niko, the highly anticipated French restaurant from Buckhead Life Restaurant Group (BLRG), opened its doors to the public November 5, 2009.  I. Pano Karatassos, Founder and CEO of BLRG is excited to bring a new concept to Atlanta after opening two restaurants out of state in the last eight years.

Buckhead Life Restaurant Group is thrilled to announce that Chef Jeff Pfeiffer will be joining the kitchen team at Bistro Niko as Sous Chef under Executive Chef Gary Donlick. Though Pfeiffer is an exciting new addition to the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, he is not a novice by any means. Having worked with some of the world’s top chefs, Pfeiffer will only compliment the Buckhead Life history of and commitment to culinary excellence.

Longtime Buckhead Life Restaurant Group Chef, Gary Donlick, has been hand selected to head the kitchen of the newest BLRG restaurant, Bistro Niko. Donlick’s two decades of experience in the kitchen, classic French training and passion for time-honored cooking techniques make him the perfect selection for the creative bistro menu at Bistro Niko.

Buckhead Diner, the fifth restaurant within the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, opened in November, 1987. Buckhad Diner serves Modern American cuisine with novel selections as well as creative yet identifiable diner food.

Chef Holger Strütt’s career spans three continents and many countries, all bringing him to a high level of culinary excellence, applied at Chops Lobster Bar in Boca Raton, Florida. In his native Germany, he made his first strides to a career in the kitchen at the young age of 15, when he decided to pursue vocational training in the culinary arts.
